The Scrolls of Life detail our days, dreams, and destinies. These individualized Scrolls are deciphered by the Author and the Bible Code as “It is Written.”
The Bible reveals that before we are knitted together in the womb, our lives were books “written” by God. This life story contains every opportunity we will ever have: our birth date, where we will live, who we will marry, what we will create or accomplish, and when we will draw our last breath. (Psalm 40:7)
Only an Author, who sees our end from our beginning, could have written such a literary work. Particularly, One who has numbered our days (Psalm 139:15-16, Jeremiah 1:5, Acts 17:26).
Each scroll or book is unique, no two alike. And each genre is as original as the individual it is written for.
Where Are the Scrolls of Life?
The Bible tells us, indirectly. God the “Word” became flesh and lived among us as the man, Jesus Christ of Nazareth (John 1:14). The Bible is the written version of this Living Word (Jesus). The Bible is more than a history book. It is a detailed account of the supernatural God and how He relates to humanity.
Similarly, all people have a written version of their lives on a Scroll of destiny authored by God. When we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, we also receive His Spirit. We no longer exist as separate entities. Over time, the Holy Spirit reveals to us our hidden lives in Him as they were written by God.
These invisible life Scrolls are found in Jesus, the Word of Life. This “Life” manifests as spiritual Light, a force with written “codes,” frequencies, and instructional blueprints. All are designed to transform us to be like Jesus. (John 1:12, Romans 8:29, 1 John 4:17b, 2 Peter 1:3, Psalm 139: 13-16)
Each of our Scrolls is codified and also hidden in the Scriptures (Jesus the Word) and revealed over time. Furthermore, we were created to live, move and exist in Him (Jesus). (Colossians 3:3, Acts 17:28)
Is The Bible Code Real?

Researchers have unraveled hidden messages through the Bible Code (or Torah Code).
Letter characters at specific intervals mysteriously spell out names, words and associated events.
The cryptic Bible Code embedded in the Torah confirms the past, present and future with incredible accuracy: names, dates, and events. Yet, this Code, identified by supercomputers, is more than inked words on paper.
In reality, the Bible is so complex that the most brilliant minds cannot understand it. As a result, many have discarded it as hypothetical nonsense or treated it merely as a historical compilation of religious writings. But could these words conveying stories and genealogies also contain the codex of life?
We know words manifest as sound, and sound waves undulate as light frequencies. Therefore, words are light. The Bible tells us that God’s Light is the Life of men (John 1:4), and His Word is Life and heals our bodies! (Proverbs 4:20-22)
Can We Preview Our Life Story?
God alone knows the future. He reveals whatever He chooses, when, and to whom. No man, angel, or devil can accurately predict the future because God hides the codex of Life and the pathways to destiny and fate.

God also strictly forbids all forms of divination (supernatural sourcing of knowledge about the future without the counsel of God), which often lead to loss, death, and destruction. (Deuteronomy 18:14, 2 Kings 21:6)
In contrast, God’s will for us is life and abundance, and the Scriptures teach us how to live godly, fruitful lives. God calls us to a pathway of hope, full of light and growing ever brighter. (John 10:10; Proverbs 4:18)
We can preview our life story before we live it through the written choices and outcomes of the souls in the Bible. God guarantees rewards for obedience or negative consequences when we deviate from His instructions. We can find examples and solutions to just about anything that we may encounter in life by reading God’s word.
Dreams, Visions and Prophecy reveal Destiny.
Our dreams are parabolic (like dark sayings or riddles) and give clues or signposts to aid us on life’s journey. The symbolism found in our dreams hides information in plain sight to protect us from destiny thieves (the world, our flesh, and the devil). As such, dream “language” requires interpretation. Though they are prophecies, dreams can be difficult to understand. However, once we find our dream meanings, we find guidance for our choices, decisions and our destiny.
Unlike dreams, visions are clear snapshots of our God-scripted destinations. (Numbers 12: 6-8) Visions do not typically provide guidance, they simply show us important milestones or end-points. Because visions are so clear, we may experience spiritual opposition from invisible dimensions while we wait for their fulfillment.
We Can Choose To Do What Is Written.
Being a child of God affords us privileged access to God’s plans. Unfortunately, we do not automatically do His “written” Will. Jesus, in His sobering Sermon on the Mount, spoke about some “believers” who will do extraordinarily generous acts. However, God will not accept their work in the end. Why? Because they chose to do their own will apart from His will. (Matthew 7:21-23)
So, we may use our gifts and talents liberally, but we need supernatural guidance to fulfill our destinies. This describes the role of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit “interprets” the complexities of the “script” and “codes” and He gives us understanding. Still, we must “choose” to embrace His Word and His Way.
How sad it would be to use these gifts and talents with excellence and gain the worldwide notoriety, Pulitzer and Nobel prizes, but lose our precious souls at the end of time.
To help rid us of hindrances, distractions and destiny-killers (our good intentions, preferences, and rights), God will periodically lead us off the beaten path to a wilderness. There we will find it much easier to hear Him.
Fulfilling God’s Plans in the Scrolls of Life.
How did David, a shepherd boy, grow up to be a great king? It was written.
And how could Joseph, the son of Jacob, transition in one hour from prisoner to Vice President of Egypt? It was written.
God tells us how to fulfill our destinies. Life is written in the “scrolls of the book” of Life. As such, we must obey God’s Word to accomplish His Will.
Psalm 40: 7-8 says, “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.”

We may read and pray the Holy Scriptures and declare like Jesus, “It is written.” Praying in the Spirit (often called Praying in Tongues) yields prayers perfectly aligned with God’s Will because only the Holy Spirit knows the mind of God (1 Cor 2:11).
The Lord may also lead us to pray what He shows us through dreams, visions, and God-inspired imaginations. As we daily agree with and “call into being” what God has in writing about us, we fulfill His Will (Romans 4:17). Consequently, we must also resist the enemies of our destiny.
Missing our Destiny in the Scrolls of Life.
We must choose wisely. One wrong choice can be very costly. God knows every good or bad influence we will face and every right or wrong choice we will ever make. He spares no effort to help us to arrive at our destination and assigns His angels to help us along the way. But those who willfully reject God after they have known Him “forsake their own Mercies.” (Jonah 2:8)
Some have not yet met the Lord but will one day. Others desire to meet Him… but not now, later. They detest the “wilderness,” or refuse to disentangle from the lure of this world or prefer to delay until they are too old or sick. How unwise this is. Who can predict when the end will come?
We are all runners who venture off track at times, but repentance and seeking God’s forgiveness will bring us back to God’s will. Still, there are those who worry that they have gone too far off script or have missed their destinies altogether. If this describes you, please read Steppingstones to Destiny.
All The World’s a Stage
When the great English playwright and poet William Shakespeare wrote:
He was not far from the truth.
The Author of Life has written our scripts, and our audience is “a great cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1-2). We are part of an ever-changing cast. We must “read” the script, decipher codes, and play our unique roles.
Until the final curtain, may it be just as “it is written” in the Scrolls of Life. Amen!

Nowhere the Bible tells us that God would have become flesh to live among us as the man, Jesus Christ of Nazareth and then to fake His death (because God cannot die) and to fake His resurrection from the dead.
The Word that became flesh is the promises (the spoken word in the Garden of Eden) that became a reality when the son of man, Jeshua ben Josref or Jesus Christ as the seed of David or the son of David, became born in Bethlehem.
Thanks for reading and sharing your viewpoint.
