Life’s Coincidences That Raise Our Eyebrows
Periodically, I mentally replay Scriptures that I have memorized so I don’t forget them. About two weeks ago, as I was reciting Isaiah 55, my bill at a gas station for less than half a tank came to $55.00. (My initial astonishment was at the inflated price).

Then, last week after checking out a few groceries (emphasis on few), I was again surprised to hear the cashier say “$55 …exactly.” (The way she added “exactly” suggested that this did not happen too often.)
Was this a coincidence? Probably not. Instinctively, I recognized that God was speaking and causing my eyebrows to raise up, “Oh!”
God sometimes uses repetitive numbers (on clocks, license plates, houses, Scriptures, and dreams). However, at other times He uses repetitive names or the meaning of the name to grab our attention. He continued to speak and gave me the following dream yesterday.
Dream: An Invitation to Living Waters
I was talking to someone who was swimming in lovely blue clear waters, the kind you find at tropical destinations. During our conversation, I was inviting her to a different body of water that I had discovered (in a vision within the same dream):

In that vision I found myself in water, waist deep then chest deep. Strikingly, it had the hue of turquoise and was far more beautiful than any other water I had ever seen. There was a light or a glow within it and it flowed gently. The water was so pure and so clear that I could see my feet. Desperately wanting to share my discovery, I called out to others nearby who had not stepped in, “Come! You have got to see this!”
Dream Interpretation
Ezekiel 47:3-5 and Isaiah 55:1. The Lord is confirming to me that He wants me to share His invitation to a promised Awakening with others and He wants everyone to come.
“Ho! Everyone who is thirsty, come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. (Isaiah 55:1)
An Invitation from Heaven
In the parabolic language of Scriptures and dreams, Heaven has a different value system from ours on earth. There is always a cost to buy something, and yet, the currency is far more valuable than money. In short, God requires our faith and our obedience.
How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver. (Proverbs 16:16)
“…that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:7)
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. (1 Samuel 15:22)
Isaiah 55 begins with a clear invitation, then gives some instructions (the legal fine print) and ends with an awesome promise. This chapter is also quite parabolic. For example, water is symbolic of the washing by the Word (Ephesians 5:26) and the Holy Spirit (John 7:38). Whereas, milk makes fine cheeses (like Boars Head Canadian Cheddar), but it also represents the Word of God (1 Peter 2:2).

The Fine Print
Now, listen carefully to what I have to say because by My Word your soul will live. Why not seek Me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13), while you know how to find Me? (Isaiah 55:6) Don’t wait until it’s too late! I want to make an everlasting covenant with you through the mercies I promised David (Lord Jesus). (Acts 13:34, Jeremiah 33:17, Matthew 1:1)
So, leave your own pathway that leads to self-destruction (Proverbs 14:12). Stop condemning yourself and quit thinking evil about others. Change your unbelieving heart! (Jeremiah 17:9, Matthew 15:18-19, Mark 16:14)
Return to Me and exchange your past for My Love and Mercy. In fact, I will fully pardon everything and give you a fresh start! (Isaiah 55:7).
I do not think or act like you and you do not think or act like Me (says the Lord). My thoughts and My ways are from Heaven. Yours are earthly.
Rain and snow come down from Heaven, water the earth (symbolizing the Spirit) and make it bud and yield seed (the Word) and bread (the Word). In the same way, My Word from My mouth will be abundantly fulfilled. You can be sure of this— I never make empty Promises. (Isaiah 55: 8-11)
An Invitation to A Promise – The Awakening
Accept My invitation and fill yourself with My Spirit and My Word. This Word will not fail.
You shall go out from My Presence full of My Joy and be led by My Peace (Psalm 16:11, Isaiah 26:3). Creation has been eagerly awaiting your revealing! (Romans 8: 19- 22). All of creation will rejoice and applaud you.
Has anyone seen or heard about this happening worldwide: The complete restoration of entire landscapes and peoples? Creeping dry and thorny bushes (briers and thorns) become tall evergreens (Cypress) and fragrant flowering trees (Myrtle)? Undoubtedly, transformation will come to the driest, most desolate places and people everywhere. And, My Name will be famous in this earth; an everlasting sign that shall never be forgotten. (Isaiah 55:12:13)
(End of Chapter)
Symbolism of Awakening
Visually, this Awakening reminds me of Briar Rose, one of many tales from the Brothers Grimm (long before Disney existed) which have parabolic messages. The beautiful Princess woke up from her 100-year nap after receiving a kiss from a Prince (Song of Solomon 1:2, Psalm 2:12). Suddenly, every living thing that had been dead or dormant sprung to life and blossomed again. Here is a link to an audio and written version of the story.
The Bible (and dreams) shows contrasting symbols of dryness versus fruitfulness. For example:
Spiritual and Natural Desolation
I will lay it waste; It shall not be pruned or dug, but there shall come up briers and thorns. I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain on it.” (Isaiah 5:6)
…but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned. (Hebrews 6:8)
Spiritual and Natural Fruitfulness
Cypress evergreens grow tall on mountains and their wood was used in the temple (Isaiah 37:24, 60:13). Throughout Scripture, the color green is a symbol of prosperity and parabolic for spiritual life and fruitfulness. Additionally, the Myrtle has beautiful blooms and is associated with the anointing. (Isaiah 41:19, Zechariah 1:11). (I have purple and white Crepe Myrtle trees in my back yard).
…and that they should announce and proclaim in all their cities and in Jerusalem, saying, “Go out to the mountain, and bring olive branches, branches of oil trees, myrtle branches, palm branches, and branches of leafy trees, to make booths, as it is written.” (Nehemiah 8:15)
For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; (Hebrews 6:7)
The Message
If water can dramatically revitalize dry places, how much more will Wine and Milk from Heaven transform what looks desolate and without hope! Above all, God will save many souls.
The number 5 represents God’s empowering grace; therefore, 55 can mean “grace grace” (or great grace) …see post By My Spirit: 2 and 2022. (Zechariah 4:6-7).
Regardless of how things may look in the world, God is confirming His plans to bring a great Awakening (as stated this Prophetic Dream: 1972 Reawakening). May we be His willing volunteers and servants.
Prayer: Father, please draw us by Your Spirit to seek Your Presence and come to Your Living Waters, so that by Faith we may eat and drink of the Wine of Your Spirit and the Milk of Your Word. We desire to see an Awakening and transformation that will bring glory to your Name in this earth. We pray in Lord Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I join you in prayer for spiritual awakening that will bring glory to God.
Awesome @paulyr2 Bless you!
The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; the wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook (Prov. 18:4). Enjoyed reading An Invitation to a Promise: The Awakening. Keep the “word” flowing.
Amen! Thanks for sharing that. I need more of those turquoise waters! 👍🏽
Once again, this is so relevant in many ways, and not just for me but the UK which is experiencing unusually dry weather at the moment. Our church has been focusing on this very theme, coming to the feast, and Living Water.
Interesting! Thanks for the feedback, Jenny. At our church which meets Sunday afternoons, there were also confirmations of the same message. I’m looking forward to the spiritual awakening.
